Primary Responsibilities
- Liaise with other REACH Offices on various cross charges to complete bookkeeping records in an accounting system.
- Prepare and send inter-company transactions and its complete support documentation on timely manner to REACH Offices accepting the recharge.
- Receive and verify completeness and accuracy of inter-company recharges from the sending REACH Offices.
- Support the team to be incompliance with GAAP, organizational policies, standards and donor requirements in implementation of activities.
- Ensure that statements and records comply with laws and regulations.
- Preparing and ensuring that relevant monthly tax reporting and tax submission are made timely which PND 1,3, 55, 53, 54 and other relevant taxes.
- Regularly monitor all the revenue, payments, receivables and payables.
- Ensure all financial documents are complete, accurate and complied with policies.
- Responsible to archive all the financial and accounting documents.
- Provide guidance and support to the operation team in establishing and maintaining an internal control system in line with the context of operation.
- Ensure all financial transactions are timely and accurately recorded in the accounting software in line with the GAAP.
- Ensure quality of all monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts reconciliation and meet deadline.
Regular Responsibilities
- Record the financial data and upload into the Accounting system.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure the transactions are sufficiently supported with all the required supporting documents.
- Review and analyze all the financials on a regular basis and enter into the accounting system as per REACH
- Perform banking, currency exchange and cash transfer processes as required by REACH’s overall operation.
- Responsible to review the claims and filing the financial disbursements as per REACH Procedures.
- Ensure sufficient cash flow to support REACH in operation, sub-granting and activities.
- Do the monthly accounting in accordance with REACH procedures and regulation.
- Ensure internal control system is in place in Thailand office.
Organization Representation
- Represent REACH in its relationship with funding agencies and partners to ensure sufficient support for planned activities.
- Represent the country office in presenting the financial, partners and operational situation to HQ.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce. ACCA, CPA, or CIMA qualified is preferred
- At least 5 years’ experience in related position with expertise in Project financial management and implementing internal control system.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Thai/Karen (preferable).
- Sound judgment, planning and interpersonal skill.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience in the use of accounting software, mainly Sun System.
- Competence in using information technology, work- procession spread sheet and power point software.
- Exposure to NGO work is an advantage.
- Able to think themselves and make necessary decision.
- Able to work independently.
